November 19 - 20, 2004 – Please join us for a French Culinary Class … A Bistro Feast in the Making. From soup to nuts, participate in the preparation of your Provencal dinner. Enjoy the efforts of your labor over a delicious bistro feast.

Provencal Dinner Menu

Wine Tasting: Preston Winery with Lou and Susan Preston

Main Course: Tortellini Salmon Rillettes - creamy smoked salmon pate served with crisp baguette rounds/ Coq au vin – delicious chicken with wild mushrooms, pearl onions and a wine sauce with fresh herbs.

Dessert: Apple tarte normandie – buttery crust baked with apple wedges and filled with custard and baked again.

* Tarla Fallgatter has been teaching classes for 20 years. She was trained at Le Cordon Bleu and La Varenne in Paris and Ecole Lenotre in Plasir and with the likes of Jacques Pepin, Madeleine Kamman and Jane Butel. When not teaching, she caters, works as a private chef, and her spare time writes articles for Bon Appetite Magazine. She was, also, the editor of WWWiz, a magazine which concentrated on the happenings on the internet. Read her articles on www.wwwiz.com. She keeps current when traveling to France, Spain, China, South America looking for "culinary inspirations".

Significant other doesn’t want to cook? He/she can participate in a winery tour and the purchasing of our dinner wines paired for the meal.
