Take part first-hand in the magical transformation of grapes into wine in Sonoma's beautiful Alexander Valley. This event is done in two parts at our Bed and Breakfast Inns.

September Schedule:

* A 2-night stay at our Inns.

* Enjoy a welcome reception and buffet dinner the first night at the Inn.

* PICK & PRESS premium grapes from the Hope-Merrill House vineyard or other vineyards.

* Share a delightful picnic by the pool.

* Rejoin your friends for the Vintner's Outdoor Barbecue Dinner. Meet and dine with the guest vintner.

* Second morning, after breakfast, enjoy a private tour & tasting at our guest vintner's winery.

* Program ends at noon of final day.
May Schedule:

* Welcome back reception and buffet dinner the first night at the Inn.

* After breakfast, the Taste, Blend, Bottle and Labeling Party.

* Gourmet picnic by the pool.

* Vintner's Outdoor Barbecue Dinner.

* Second morning, after breakfast, a private tour & tasting at our guest vintner's winery.

* TAKE HOME 2 CASES OF WINE. Personalize your own label or use ours.

OUR WINEMAKER'S CREDENTIALS:
Graham Parnell has been our Pick & Press winemaker for the past 7 years.  He is an instructor in the Enology program at Santa Rosa Junior College.  He is the Chairman of the West Coast Wine Competition and co-coordinator of the Grand Harvest Awards Competition, and recently he was a judge in the 1999 Cloverdale Citrus Fair.  Graham is the managing editor for Vineyard & Winery Management Magazine and also writes a monthly wine column for a business magazine.
