PRESS RELEASE

New Innkeepers Continues Successful Wine Making Program & Wins A Bronze Medal to add to their already successful Silver Medal.

Geyserville, CA, October 29, 1998 ... Cosette and Ron Scheiber, the new owners of the very prestigious Hope-Merrill and Hope-Bosworth Houses in Geyserville, California have continued on with the Inns 6th year of wine making by the inns guests. The program, begun by the former owners, Bob & Rosalie Hope, introduces "wannabe" winemakers to the labors of producing wine. Each participant partakes in the picking, hauling, crushing, blending, bottling and labeling of their own wine. When all is said and done, each couple gets to go home with one case of red and one case of white wine which they have made.

This one of a kind, four day event takes place over two, two day sessions. Session one occurs in the fall during harvest time; session two occurs in the spring for bottling. Besides the "fun" of hard work, guests are treated to sumptuous breakfasts, picnic lunches by the pool and wine receptions followed by barbecue dinners under the grape arbor. On the last morning of both sessions, everyone is treated to a private tour and tasting at one of our local premium wineries.

This past years event resulted in a Silver Medal for the 1997 Melon at the Annual Sonoma County Harvest Festival's Amateur Winemaker Competition.

As yet, dates have not been chosen for the 1999-2000 Pick & Press Event, the Scheibers are developing a wait list and everyone will be notified as soon as the dates have been solidified.
