Saturday, December 4, 2011:  Just in Time for Christmas. A Christmas Sausage Workshop with Chef Franco Dunn in the Hope-Merrill Kitchen

Christmas Sausage is very traditional in many European countries. It is often served for breakfast on Christmas morning. Learn how to easily make sausage in your  very own home kitchen. Chef Franco Dunn will teach you the basics of sausage making featuring a traditional Christmas Sausage with potatoes. When finished, you will take home some sausage.   Franco began his sausage making career at the side of his friend, Bruce Aidells, "The Sausage King". Franco opened, and co-owned the very popular Santi’s in Geyserville. Today, he is the in-house sausage maker at Scopa’s in Healdsburg.

Friday, December 31, 2011:    New Year's Eve Stay any two nights, including, celebratory dinner & wine.

Safely Bring in 2011: No driving required.   Join Ron & Cosette as they ring in the 2011.  Book any available room.  Perhaps one with a fireplace.   Begin the evening with wine and hors d'ouerves  in the Hope-Merrill Parlor, followed by a luscious dinner with wine in their stunning dining room.  Ring in 2011 with champagne, hats and noise makers.  Following the celebration, simply walk back to your room.

January 14 & 15:  Russian River Wine Road's Annual Winter Wineland Event.  Price  Cost of a two night stay plus cost of Wine Road tickets..  Tickets must be purchased through  the wine road.

On Friday Night join us for a deliciously cozy Winter Wineland Tasting event.  Enjoy a supper of a hearty soup, salad and fresh breads, the social ambiance of friends in the making ... plus an exquisite wine tasting event that will introduce you to a local winery and their provocative wines.

January 29, 2011:  Hope-Merrill House and Michel-Schlumberger Winery Dinner. Price Two night stay plus $20 per person   for wine.

Begin the weekend, on Friday evening with a wine tasting in the main parlor of the Hope-Merrill House.  Then, on Saturday, be our guests at Michel-Schlumberger for our Celebrate Winter dinner at their highly acclaimed benchland vineyard in the Dry Creek Valley. 

This special includes 2 persons - one room for 2 nights - in either the Hope-Merrill House or the Hope-Bosworth House.  Two delicious breakfasts ... and an unforgettable dinner completes the package.  The price for this entire package is only the standard price of the room  for two nights and $20 per person to cover the cost of their wine!  If staying only one night, the price is $75 per person including wine.
